Ingredients

  • 1-4 lamb shanks.
  • 2- Finely diced vegetables (Celery, Onion, Carrots).
  • Take equal amount 2 from each 2 stick celery 2 carrots and 2 onions.
  • Half cup red wine.
  • Crushed tomato 400g.
  • Some thyme, mint and rosemary.
  • 1 Tablespoon ginger and garlic chopped.
  • 2 cup chicken stock seared.

 Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 180°C.
  2. Season shanks with salt pepper and rub some oil.
  3. Sear them till slightly brown in the oven..
  4. Braising liquid needs to be made with adding stock red wine tomato thyme bay leaves rosemary all stir to combine.
  5. Place lamb shank on a tray.
  6. Bring liquid to a simmer then add on shank and cover.
  7. Put in an oven 150C for 4 hours .
  8. Make mashed potato and or cauliflower puree to serve.
