Ingredients
- 1-4 lamb shanks.
- 2- Finely diced vegetables (Celery, Onion, Carrots).
- Take equal amount 2 from each 2 stick celery 2 carrots and 2 onions.
- Half cup red wine.
- Crushed tomato 400g.
- Some thyme, mint and rosemary.
- 1 Tablespoon ginger and garlic chopped.
- 2 cup chicken stock seared.
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Season shanks with salt pepper and rub some oil.
- Sear them till slightly brown in the oven..
- Braising liquid needs to be made with adding stock red wine tomato thyme bay leaves rosemary all stir to combine.
- Place lamb shank on a tray.
- Bring liquid to a simmer then add on shank and cover.
- Put in an oven 150C for 4 hours .
- Make mashed potato and or cauliflower puree to serve.
